What’s that saying about a job not being done until the paperwork is finished? Nowhere is that probably more true than when it comes to research because, unless you publish the results of your work, no one else can benefit from it. Before you can even begin that process, however, there’s collating, analyzing, and writing to be done. And, don’t forget about the potential for licensing opportunities and technological development that might stem from your work. In some ways, completing a study is just the beginning.
