Precision medicine refers to health care that is based on insights gained from studying individual differences in environment, lifestyle, and genetics to create prevention and treatment strategies that are personally tailored to maximize effectiveness.
In this symposium, the speakers talk about several advances on the precision medicine front including the national All of Us Research Program and its local branch, the All of Us Pennsylvania Research Program (formerly known as PA Cares for Us) and an exciting new CTSI initiative – the development of a local biobank program.
